BIBS Set of 2 Glow-in-the-Dark Colour Latex Pacifiers, Round Nipple, 0 months+, Vanilla/Dark Oak
The BIBS Colour Glow 2-pack pacifiers are made from latex, a material obtained from the fluid of the rubber tree (hevea). This fluid is refined to create latex—a soft, elastic material that is similar in texture to a mother's breast. The pacifiers are glow-in-the-dark, come in Vanilla and Dark Oak shades, and are recommended from 0 months onwards.
The round nipple of the pacifier is designed with a valve that allows air to escape when the baby closes their mouth and takes on the natural shape of the baby's oral cavity. The nipple is made of 100% natural latex. The flexible shield around the nipple has a slightly concave shape to minimize contact points with the baby's skin. The shield is made of 100% PP and is designed with 3 holes that allow for air circulation.
Good pacifier hygiene requires frequent cleaning. The younger the baby, the more important it is to protect the pacifier from bacteria. Before the first use, the pacifier must be sterilized. Latex is a natural material that can break down at temperatures above 100°C. Therefore, latex pacifiers MUST NOT be sterilized in a microwave, steam sterilizer, UV sterilizer, or in a sterilization solution.
Sterilizing the pacifier involves 3 simple steps: place the pacifier in a clean bowl, pour boiling water over it and leave it for 5 minutes, then place it on a clean towel and let it dry. If water has entered the inside of the nipple through the valve, press the nipple with a towel until the water is removed.
