The BIBS Colour Glow set contains 2 glow-in-the-dark pacifiers with a round nipple, made of 100% natural latex. Latex is a material obtained from the fluid of the rubber tree (Hevea), which is refined to result in an elastic and soft material, similar in texture to the mother's breast. The Sage/Pine color and the glow-in-the-dark effect make the pacifier easy to find even in the dark.
The pacifier nipple is designed with a valve that allows air to escape when the baby closes their mouth, thus taking on the natural shape of the oral cavity. The nipple is made of 100% natural latex, and its round shape makes it suitable for infants from 0 months. The flexible shield around the nipple has a slightly concave shape to minimize contact points with the baby's skin.
The shield is made of PP and is designed with 3 holes that allow air circulation. This construction contributes to the baby's comfort and reduces skin irritation around the mouth.
Good pacifier hygiene requires frequent cleaning. The younger the baby, the more important it is to protect the pacifier from bacteria. Before the first use, the pacifier must be sterilized. Because latex is a natural material that can break at temperatures above 100 degrees C, latex pacifiers MUST NOT be sterilized in the microwave, steam sterilizer, UV sterilizer, or in sterilization solution. Sterilization is done in 3 simple steps: place the pacifier in a clean bowl, pour hot water over the pacifier and leave it for 5 minutes, then remove the pacifier onto a clean napkin and let it dry. If water has entered inside the nipple through the valve, press the nipple with the help of the napkin until the water is removed.
