BIBS Set of 2 Boheme GLOW Latex pacifiers, round teat, 6-18 months, made of latex
BIBS Boheme pacifiers from the GLOW range are made of latex, a material sourced from the sap of the rubber tree (hevea). The sap is refined, resulting in latex: an elastic and soft material, with a texture similar to a mother's breast.
The round nipple is designed with a valve that allows air to escape when the baby closes their mouth and mimics the natural shape of the oral cavity. The nipple is made of natural latex. The shield surrounding the nipple has a slightly concave shape to reduce contact points with the baby's skin; the shield is made of PP and has multiple holes to allow air circulation.
For good hygiene, clean the pacifier frequently. Before the first use, the pacifier must be sterilized. Latex is a natural material that can break at temperatures above 100 degrees Celsius; therefore, latex pacifiers must NOT be sterilized in the microwave, steam sterilizer, UV sterilizer, or in sterilization solution. Sterilization involves three steps: place the pacifier in a clean bowl, pour boiling water over it and leave it for 5 minutes, then take it out onto a clean napkin and let it dry. If water has entered the nipple through the valve, squeeze the nipple with the napkin until the water is removed.
