BIBS Set of 2 De Lux Latex pacifiers, round nipple, PP shield, natural latex, 6-18 months
BIBS De Lux pacifiers are made from latex, a material obtained from the fluid derived from the rubber tree (hevea). The fluid is refined to produce latex, an elastic and soft material that is similar in texture to a mother's breast.
The nipple of the pacifier is designed with a valve that allows air to escape when the baby closes their mouth, conforming to the natural shape of the baby's oral cavity. The nipple is made from natural latex. The flexible shield around the nipple has a slightly concave shape to minimize contact points with the baby's skin. The shield is made of PP and is designed with multiple holes to allow air circulation.
For good hygiene, the pacifier must be cleaned frequently. The younger the baby, the more important it is to maintain good pacifier hygiene. Before first use, the pacifier must be sterilized. Latex is a natural material that can break at temperatures above 100°C. Therefore, latex pacifiers should not be sterilized in a microwave, steam sterilizer, UV sterilizer, or in sterilizing solution.
Sterilization involves three simple steps: place the pacifier in a clean bowl, pour boiling water over it and leave it for 5 minutes, then remove the pacifier onto a clean towel and let it dry. If water has entered the nipple through the valve, press the nipple with the towel until the water is expelled. The set contains 2 pacifiers.
