BIBS Set of 2 De Lux Latex pacifiers, round nipple, 0 months+, Vanilla/Dark Oak, 100% natural latex
The BIBS De Lux Latex set contains 2 pacifiers with a round nipple in the shades Vanilla and Dark Oak, suitable for babies from 0 months. The pacifier nipple is made of 100% natural latex, a material derived from the fluid of the rubber tree (hevea), which is refined to obtain an elastic and soft latex, similar in texture to a mother's breast.
The nipple is designed with a valve that allows air to escape when the baby closes their mouth, so that it takes on the natural shape of the oral cavity. The flexible shield around the nipple has a slightly concave shape to minimize contact points with the baby's skin. The shield is made of PP and designed with multiple holes that allow air to circulate around the mouth.
Good pacifier hygiene involves frequent cleaning. The younger the baby, the more important it is to protect the pacifier from bacteria and maintain its hygiene. Before the first use, the pacifier must be sterilized. Because latex is a natural material that can break at temperatures above 100 degrees C, latex pacifiers must NOT be sterilized in the microwave, steam sterilizer, UV sterilizer, or in sterilization solution.
Proper sterilization involves three simple steps: place the pacifier in a clean bowl, pour hot water over the pacifier and leave it for 5 minutes, then remove the pacifier onto a clean napkin and let it dry. If water has entered the nipple through its valve, use the napkin to press the nipple until the water is expelled. It is recommended to replace the pacifiers after 4-6 weeks of use.
