BIBS Set of 2 De Lux Latex pacifiers, round nipple, 0 months+, Ivory/Blush, natural latex
The set of 2 BIBS De Lux pacifiers is made of latex, a material obtained from the fluid of the rubber tree (Hevea). This fluid is refined to create latex, a soft and elastic material with a texture similar to a mother's breast. The pacifiers are available in Ivory/Blush and are recommended for babies from 0 months onwards.
The pacifier nipple is designed with a valve that allows air to escape when the baby closes their mouth, taking on the natural shape of the baby's oral cavity. The nipple is made of 100% natural latex, a soft material that adapts easily. The round shape of the nipple is designed for the child's comfort during use.
The flexible shield around the nipple has a slightly concave shape to minimize contact points with the baby's skin. The shield is made of PP and is designed with multiple holes to allow air circulation.
Good pacifier hygiene requires frequent cleaning. The younger the baby, the more important it is to protect the pacifier from bacteria and maintain good hygiene. Before the first use, the pacifier must be sterilized. Latex is a natural material that can break down at temperatures above 100°C; therefore, latex pacifiers should not be sterilized in a microwave, steam sterilizer, UV sterilizer, or in sterilization solution. Sterilization involves three simple steps: place the pacifier in a clean bowl, pour hot water over it and leave it for 5 minutes, then remove the pacifier onto a clean towel and let it dry. If water has entered the inside of the nipple through the valve, use the towel to press the nipple until the water is removed.
