The BIBS De Lux set contains two pacifiers made from 100% natural latex, a material obtained from the fluid of the rubber tree (hevea). The fluid is refined to produce latex, an elastic and soft material with a texture similar to a mother's breast, which provides the baby with a familiar and soothing sensation during use.

The pacifier nipple has a round shape and is designed with a valve that allows air to escape when the baby closes their mouth, so the nipple takes on the natural shape of the baby's oral cavity. This design helps it adapt as well as possible to the child's small mouth and supports natural sucking movements from 0 months to 6 months.

The flexible shield around the nipple has a slightly concave shape to minimize contact points with the baby's skin. The shield is made of 100% PP and is designed with multiple holes that allow air to circulate around the mouth area, contributing to the child's comfort while using the pacifier.

Good pacifier hygiene involves frequent cleaning, and the younger the baby, the more important it is to protect the pacifier from bacteria. Before the first use, the pacifier must be sterilized. Since latex is a natural material that can break down at temperatures above 100°C, latex pacifiers must NOT be sterilized in the microwave, steam sterilizer, UV sterilizer, or in sterilization solution. Sterilization involves three simple steps: place the pacifier in a clean bowl, pour hot water over it and leave it for 5 minutes, then remove it onto a clean paper towel and let it dry. If water has entered the inside of the nipple through the valve, gently press the nipple with the paper towel until the water is eliminated.
