BIBS Set of 2 De Lux Latex pacifiers with round nipple, 0 months+, Island Sea Sage, made of 100% natural latex
The BIBS De Lux set contains 2 pacifiers made of latex, a material obtained from the fluid of the rubber tree (Hevea). This fluid is refined to produce latex, an elastic and soft material with a texture similar to a mother's breast. The round teat is made of 100% natural latex and is recommended for babies from 0 months onwards.
The pacifier teat is designed with a valve that allows air to escape when the baby closes their mouth, mimicking the natural shape of the baby's oral cavity. This construction helps the pacifier adapt to the little one's mouth. The flexible disc around the teat has a slightly concave shape to minimize contact points with the baby's skin, and multiple holes allow for air circulation.
The disc is made of PP and designed with multiple holes that allow air circulation. The set is offered in the Island Sea and Sage color combination. The pacifiers are suitable for babies from birth.
Good pacifier hygiene requires frequent cleaning: the younger the baby, the more important it is to protect the pacifier from bacteria. Before the first use, the pacifier must be sterilized. Because latex is a natural material that can break at temperatures above 100°C, latex pacifiers MUST NOT be sterilized in the microwave, steam sterilizer, UV sterilizer, or with sterilization solutions. Proper sterilization involves 3 steps: place the pacifier in a clean bowl, pour boiling water over it and leave it for 5 minutes, then remove it onto a clean paper towel and let it dry. If water has entered the teat through the valve, use the paper towel to press the teat until the water is removed. Pacifiers should be replaced after 4-6 weeks of use.
