BIBS Set of 2 De Lux Latex pacifiers with round teat, 0 months+, Iron Baby Blue, made of 100% natural latex
The BIBS De Lux 2-pack pacifier set is made of latex, a material obtained from the fluid of the rubber tree (Hevea). This fluid is refined to produce latex, an elastic and soft material with a texture similar to a mother's breast. The round nipple is made of 100% natural latex, and the pacifiers are suitable for babies from 0 months and up.
The pacifier nipple is designed with a valve that allows air to escape when the baby closes their mouth and takes on the natural shape of the baby's oral cavity. The flexible shield around the nipple has a slightly concave shape to minimize contact points with the baby's skin. The shield is made of PP and designed with multiple holes that allow air circulation.
Good pacifier hygiene requires frequent cleaning. The younger the baby, the more important it is to protect the pacifier from bacteria and maintain good hygiene. Before the first use, the pacifier must be sterilized. Latex is a natural material that can break down at temperatures above 100°C; therefore, latex pacifiers MUST NOT be sterilized in a microwave, steam sterilizer, UV sterilizer, or in a sterilization solution.
Sterilizing the pacifier involves 3 simple steps: place the pacifier in a clean bowl, pour boiling water over the pacifier and leave it for 5 minutes, then remove the pacifier onto a clean paper towel and let it dry. If water has entered the inside of the nipple through the valve, use the paper towel to squeeze the nipple until the water is removed. Pacifiers should be replaced after 4-6 weeks of use.
