BIBS Set of 2 De Lux Latex pacifiers, round nipple, 0 months+, Coral/Ruby, 100% natural latex
The BIBS De Lux set contains 2 pacifiers made of latex, a material obtained from the fluid of the rubber tree (hevea). This fluid is refined to obtain latex, an elastic and soft material with a texture similar to a mother's breast. The teat is made of 100% natural latex and takes on the natural shape of the baby's oral cavity when they close their mouth.
The pacifier teat is designed with a valve that allows air to escape when the baby closes their mouth. The flexible disc around the teat has a slightly concave shape to minimize contact points with the baby's skin. The disc is made of 100% PP and designed with multiple holes that allow air to circulate around the contact area.
Good pacifier hygiene requires frequent cleaning. The younger the baby, the more important it is to protect the pacifier from bacteria and maintain good hygiene. Before the first use, the pacifier must be sterilized. Latex is a natural material that can break down at temperatures above 100°C; therefore, latex pacifiers must NOT be sterilized in a microwave, steam sterilizer, UV sterilizer, or in a sterilization solution.
Sterilizing the pacifier involves three simple steps: place the pacifier in a clean bowl, pour hot water over it and leave it for 5 minutes, then remove the pacifier onto a clean towel and let it dry. If water has entered the teat through its valve, use the towel to press the teat until the water is removed. The manufacturer recommends replacing pacifiers after 4-6 weeks of use.
