BIBS Set of 2 De Lux Latex Pacifiers, round nipple, natural latex, PP shield, 0 months+
The BIBS De Lux set includes 2 pacifiers made of latex, a material derived from the sap of the rubber tree (hevea), refined to achieve a soft and elastic texture similar to a mother's breast.
The round nipple is designed with a valve that allows air to escape when the baby closes their mouth and takes on the natural shape of the oral cavity. The nipple is made of natural latex.
The flexible shield around the nipple has a slightly concave shape to reduce contact points with the baby's skin. The shield is made of PP and has multiple holes that allow air circulation.
Cleaning and hygiene of the pacifier: the younger the baby, the more important it is to maintain good hygiene. Before the first use, the pacifier must be sterilized. Latex is a natural material that can break at temperatures above 100°C; therefore, latex pacifiers should not be sterilized in the microwave, steam sterilizer, UV sterilizer, or in sterilization solution. Sterilization involves 3 steps: place the pacifier in a clean bowl, pour hot water over it and leave it for 5 minutes, then remove the pacifier onto a clean napkin and let it dry. If water has entered the nipple through the valve, press the nipple with the napkin until the water is removed.
