The BIBS Couture Latex set includes 2 pacifiers made from latex, a material obtained from the fluid of the rubber tree (hevea). This fluid is refined to produce latex, an elastic and soft material with a texture similar to a mother's breast. The teat of each pacifier is made of 100% natural latex, in Ivory and Sage shades.

The pacifier teat is designed with a valve that allows air to escape when the baby closes their mouth, conforming to the natural shape of the baby's oral cavity. This anatomical shape helps the pacifier fit comfortably, and the valve contributes to pleasant use throughout the day and night. The set is recommended for babies from 0 months old.

The flexible shield around the teat has a slightly concave shape to minimize contact points with the baby's skin. The shield is made of PP and is designed with multiple holes that allow air circulation.

Good pacifier hygiene requires frequent cleaning. The younger the baby, the more important it is to protect the pacifier from bacteria and maintain good hygiene. Before the first use, the pacifier must be sterilized. Latex is a natural material that can break at temperatures above 100°C; therefore, latex pacifiers must NOT be sterilized in a microwave, steam sterilizer, UV sterilizer, or in sterilization solution. Sterilization involves three simple steps: place the pacifier in a clean bowl, pour boiling water over it and leave it for 5 minutes, then remove the pacifier onto a clean towel and let it dry. If water has entered the teat through the valve, use the towel to press the teat until the water is removed. Replace pacifiers after 4-6 weeks of use.
