BIBS Set of 2 Couture Latex pacifiers, anatomical teat, 0 months+, Island Sea/Sage, made of 100% natural latex
BIBS Couture Latex pacifiers are made of latex, a material obtained from the fluid of the rubber tree (hevea). This fluid is refined to produce latex, an elastic and soft material with a texture similar to a mother's breast. The set contains 2 pacifiers in the shades Island Sea and Sage, suitable for babies from 0 months.
The pacifier teat is designed with a valve that allows air to escape when the baby closes their mouth, taking on the natural shape of the baby's oral cavity. The anatomical teat is made of 100% natural latex, a material that feels similar to maternal breast tissue and offers comfort during use by little ones.
The flexible shield around the teat has a slightly concave shape to minimize contact points with the baby's skin. The shield is made of PP and designed with multiple holes to allow air circulation.
Good pacifier hygiene requires frequent cleaning. The younger the baby, the more important it is to protect the pacifier from bacteria and maintain good hygiene. Before the first use, the pacifier must be sterilized. Latex is a natural material that can break at temperatures above 100 degrees Celsius. Therefore, latex pacifiers MUST NOT be sterilized in the microwave, steam sterilizer, UV sterilizer, or in sterilization solution. Sterilization involves 3 simple steps: place the pacifier in a clean bowl, pour boiling water over it and leave it for 5 minutes, then take it out onto a clean napkin and let it dry. If water has entered the inside of the teat through the valve, use the napkin to press the teat until the water is removed. It is recommended to replace the pacifiers after 4-6 weeks of use.
