BIBS Set of 2 Couture Latex Pacifiers, anatomical nipple, 0-6 months, Cloud/Steel Blue, natural latex
The BIBS Couture set includes two pacifiers made of latex, a material obtained from the fluid of the rubber tree (hevea). This fluid is refined to create latex, an elastic and soft material with a texture similar to a mother's breast. The nipple of the pacifier is made of 100% natural latex and is designed with a valve that allows air to escape when the baby closes their mouth, adopting the natural shape of the oral cavity.
The flexible shield around the nipple has a slightly concave shape to minimize contact points with the baby's skin. The shield is made of PP and is designed with multiple holes that allow air circulation. The color combination in this set is Cloud and Steel Blue, and the recommended size is 0-6 months, suitable for the youngest babies.
Good pacifier hygiene requires frequent cleaning. The younger the baby, the more important it is to protect the pacifier from bacteria and maintain good hygiene. Before the first use, the pacifier must be sterilized. Because latex is a natural material that can break at temperatures above 100°C, latex pacifiers MUST NOT be sterilized in a microwave, steam sterilizer, UV sterilizer, or in a sterilization solution.
Sterilizing the pacifier involves three simple steps: place the pacifier in a clean bowl, pour hot water over it and leave it for 5 minutes, then remove the pacifier onto a clean napkin and let it air dry. If water has entered the nipple through its valve, use the napkin to squeeze the nipple until the water is removed. It is recommended to replace pacifiers after 4-6 weeks of use.
