BIBS Set of 2 Pacifiers Colour Studio Collection Polka Dots round latex nipple 0 months+ Ivory/Dark Oak
The set of 2 BIBS Colour Studio Collection Polka Dots pacifiers is made of latex, a material obtained from the fluid of the rubber tree (hevea). This fluid is refined to obtain latex, an elastic and soft material with a texture similar to a mother's breast. The round nipple of the pacifier is designed with a valve that allows air to escape when the baby closes their mouth and takes on the natural shape of the baby's oral cavity.
The nipple is made of 100% natural latex. The flexible shield around the nipple has a slightly concave shape to minimize contact points with the baby's skin. The shield is made of 100% PP, designed with 3 holes that allow air circulation. The Polka Dots model comes in Ivory and Dark Oak shades, and the set contains two pacifiers suitable for babies from 0 months old.
Good pacifier hygiene involves frequent cleaning. The younger the baby, the more important it is to protect the pacifier from bacteria and maintain good hygiene. Before first use, the pacifier must be sterilized. Latex is a natural material that can break at temperatures above 100 degrees C. Therefore, latex pacifiers should not be sterilized in a microwave, steam sterilizer, UV sterilizer, or in a sterilization solution.
Sterilizing the pacifier involves 3 simple steps: place the pacifier in a clean bowl, pour hot water over the pacifier and leave it for 5 minutes, then remove the pacifier onto a clean towel and let it dry. If water has entered the inside of the nipple through its valve, use a towel to press the nipple until the water is removed. It is recommended to replace pacifiers after 4-6 weeks of use.
