BIBS Set of 2 Colour Studio Collection Polka Dots pacifiers, round teat, 0 months+, Blossom/Candy Apple, latex
The BIBS Colour Studio Collection Polka Dots set of 2 pacifiers in Blossom and Candy Apple shades offers your baby comfort from the very first months of life. The pacifiers are made of latex, a material derived from rubber tree (hevea) sap, which is refined until it becomes a soft and elastic material, similar in texture to a mother's breast. The round nipple is designed to mimic the natural shape of the baby's oral cavity.
The pacifier nipple is equipped with a valve that allows air to escape when the baby closes their mouth, and it is made of 100% natural latex. The flexible shield around the nipple has a slightly concave shape to minimize contact points with the baby's skin. The shield is made of 100% PP and is designed with 3 holes that allow air circulation.
Good pacifier hygiene requires frequent cleaning. The younger the baby, the more important it is to protect the pacifier from bacteria and maintain good hygiene. Before the first use, the pacifier must be sterilized. Because latex is a natural material that can break down at temperatures above 100°C, latex pacifiers must NOT be sterilized in the microwave, steam sterilizer, UV sterilizer, or in sterilizing solution.
Sterilizing the pacifier involves 3 simple steps: place the pacifier in a clean bowl, pour boiling water over it and leave it for 5 minutes, then remove the pacifier onto a clean towel and let it dry. If water has entered the inside of the nipple through its valve, use the towel to press the nipple until the water is expelled. Pacifiers should be replaced after 4-6 weeks of use.
