BIBS Set of 2 Colour Studio Collection Flower Latex pacifiers, round teat, 6 months+, Blush latex
The BIBS Colour Studio Collection Flower Latex pacifier set in the shade Blush is made of latex, a material derived from the fluid of the rubber tree (Hevea). This fluid is refined to obtain latex, an elastic and soft material with a texture similar to a mother's breast. The pacifiers are recommended for babies from 6 months, size 6-18 months.
The pacifier teat is round and designed with a valve that allows air to escape when the baby closes their mouth, adopting the natural shape of the oral cavity. The teat is made of 100% natural latex, a material that offers a familiar and pleasant sensation for the baby. The integrated valve supports the natural sucking motion and helps maintain the pacifier's shape during use.
The flexible shield around the teat has a slightly concave shape to minimize contact points with the baby's skin. The shield is made of PP and is designed with 3 holes that allow air circulation to the skin around the mouth. The set contains 2 identical pacifiers, practical to always have a spare on hand.
Latex pacifiers require careful hygiene. Since latex is a natural material that can break at temperatures above 100°C, latex pacifiers must NOT be sterilized in a microwave, steam sterilizer, UV sterilizer, or in a sterilization solution. Sterilization is done in 3 simple steps: place the pacifier in a clean bowl, pour boiling water over it and leave it for 5 minutes, then remove it onto a clean paper towel and let it dry. If water has entered the teat through the valve, press the teat with the paper towel until the water is eliminated.
