BIBS Set of 2 Colour Latex pacifiers, natural latex symmetrical nipple, PP shield, 6 months+
The BIBS Colour Latex set contains 2 pacifiers made of latex, a material derived from the fluid of the rubber tree (hevea). The fluid is refined until it becomes latex, a soft and elastic material with a texture similar to a mother's breast.
The pacifier nipple is designed with a valve that allows air to escape when the baby closes their mouth, taking on the natural shape of the baby's oral cavity. The nipple is made of natural latex.
The flexible shield around the nipple has a slightly concave shape to minimize contact points with the baby's skin. The shield is made of PP and is designed with 3 holes that allow for air circulation.
For good hygiene, the pacifier must be cleaned frequently. Before first use, the pacifier must be sterilized. Latex is a natural material that can break at temperatures above 100°C; therefore, latex pacifiers MUST NOT be sterilized in a microwave, steam sterilizer, UV sterilizer, or in a sterilization solution. Sterilization involves 3 steps: place the pacifier in a clean bowl, pour hot water over it and leave it for 5 minutes, then remove it onto a clean paper towel and let it dry. If water has entered the inside of the nipple through the valve, press the nipple with the paper towel until the water is removed.
