BIBS Set of 2 Colour Latex Pacifiers, round teat, 6 months+ Vanilla/Pine, 100% natural latex
The BIBS Colour pacifiers in this 2-pack set are made of latex, a material derived from fluid harvested from the rubber tree (hevea). This fluid is refined to obtain latex, an elastic and soft material with a texture similar to a mother's breast. The set includes two pacifiers in Vanilla/Pine, with a round nipple, suitable for babies aged 6 months and up.
The pacifier nipple is designed with a valve that allows air to escape when the baby closes their mouth, adopting the natural shape of the oral cavity. The nipple is made of 100% natural latex, a soft and flexible material. The flexible shield around the nipple has a slightly concave shape to minimize contact points with the baby's skin and is made of 100% PP, featuring 3 holes that allow air circulation.
Good pacifier hygiene requires frequent cleaning. The younger the baby, the more important it is to protect the pacifier from bacteria and maintain good hygiene. Before the first use, the pacifier must be sterilized. Because latex is a natural material that can break down at temperatures above 100°C, latex pacifiers must NOT be sterilized in the microwave, steam sterilizer, UV sterilizer, or in sterilization solution.
Sterilizing the pacifier involves 3 simple steps: place the pacifier in a clean bowl, pour hot water over it, and leave it for 5 minutes, then remove the pacifier onto a clean towel and let it dry. If water has entered the inside of the nipple through its valve, use the towel to press the nipple until the water is expelled. The manufacturer recommends replacing pacifiers after 4-6 weeks of use.
