BIBS Colour Latex pacifiers are made of latex, a natural material obtained from the fluid of the rubber tree (hevea). This fluid is refined to obtain latex, an elastic and soft material, similar in texture to a mother's breast. The set contains 2 pacifiers in Vanilla and Peach shades, with a round teat, recommended for babies from 6 months and up.

The pacifier teat is designed with a valve that allows air to escape when the baby closes their mouth and takes on the natural shape of the baby's oral cavity. The teat is made of 100% natural latex, a soft and flexible material that adapts comfortably to the little one's needs while sucking.

The flexible disc around the teat has a slightly concave shape to minimize contact points with the baby's skin. The disc is made of PP and is designed with 3 holes that allow air circulation. This construction helps keep the skin dry and comfortable in the area around the mouth.

Good pacifier hygiene requires frequent cleaning. The younger the baby, the more important it is to protect the pacifier from bacteria and maintain good hygiene. Before the first use, the pacifier must be sterilized. Latex is a natural material that can break at temperatures above 100 degrees Celsius, therefore latex pacifiers must NOT be sterilized in the microwave, steam sterilizer, UV sterilizer, or in sterilization solution.

Sterilization involves 3 simple steps: place the pacifier in a clean bowl, pour hot water over the pacifier and leave it for 5 minutes, then remove the pacifier onto a clean towel and let it dry. If water has entered the inside of the teat through its valve, use the towel to press the teat until the water is expelled. Pacifiers should be replaced after 4-6 weeks of use.
