The BIBS Colour Latex set contains two pacifiers made of latex, a material obtained from the fluid of the rubber tree (hevea). This fluid is refined to produce latex, an elastic and soft material with a texture similar to a mother's breast. The pacifiers are part of the Colour collection, in the Sand/Pistachio color combination, and are recommended for babies from 6 months old, with the indicated size being 6-18 months.

The round nipple of the pacifier is designed with a valve that allows air to escape when the baby closes their mouth, thus adopting the natural shape of the oral cavity. The nipple is made of 100% natural latex, a soft material that provides comfort during use. The round shape of the nipple and the integrated valve are designed to adapt to the baby's natural movements while sucking.

The flexible shield around the nipple has a slightly concave shape to minimize contact points with the baby's skin. The shield is made of 100% PP and is designed with 3 holes that allow air circulation. This construction helps keep the area around the mouth dry and aerated while the pacifier is in use.

Good pacifier hygiene requires frequent cleaning: the younger the baby, the more important it is to protect the pacifier from bacteria. Before the first use, the pacifier must be sterilized. Because latex is a natural material that can break down at temperatures above 100°C, latex pacifiers should NOT be sterilized in a microwave, steam sterilizer, UV sterilizer, or in a sterilization solution. Proper sterilization involves three simple steps: place the pacifier in a clean bowl, pour hot water over it and leave it for 5 minutes, then remove it onto a clean paper towel and let it dry. If water has entered the inside of the nipple through the valve, press the nipple with the paper towel until the water is removed. It is recommended to replace the pacifiers after 4-6 weeks of use.
