BIBS Colour pacifiers are made from latex, a material obtained from the fluid of the rubber tree (hevea). This fluid is refined to produce latex, an elastic and soft material with a texture similar to a mother's breast. The set contains 2 pacifiers in Sage and Cloud shades, recommended for babies from 6 months old.

The pacifier teat is designed with a valve that allows air to escape when the baby closes their mouth and takes on the natural shape of the baby's oral cavity. The teat is round and made of 100% natural latex, offering a soft and familiar sensation for the little one during daily use.

The flexible shield around the teat has a slightly concave shape to minimize contact points with the baby's skin. The shield is made of PP and designed with 3 holes that allow air to circulate around the area in contact with the skin, a useful detail for the baby's comfort.

Good pacifier hygiene requires frequent cleaning. The younger the baby, the more important it is to protect the pacifier from bacteria and maintain good hygiene. Before the first use, the pacifier must be sterilized. Latex is a natural material that can break at temperatures above 100 degrees C; therefore, latex pacifiers MUST NOT be sterilized in the microwave, steam sterilizer, UV sterilizer, or in sterilizing solution. Sterilization involves 3 simple steps: place the pacifier in a clean bowl, pour boiling water over the pacifier and leave it for 5 minutes, then remove it onto a clean paper towel and let it dry. If water has entered the inside of the teat through the valve, use the paper towel to press the teat until the water is expelled. Replace pacifiers after 4-6 weeks of use.
