BIBS Set of 2 Colour Latex pacifiers, round nipple, 6 months+ Mustard/Mocha, 100% natural latex
The BIBS Colour pacifiers in this 2-piece set are made of latex, a natural material obtained from the fluid of the rubber tree (hevea). This fluid is refined to create latex, an elastic and soft material with a texture similar to a mother's breast. The round nipple provides the baby with a familiar and comfortable sensation during use.
The pacifier nipple is designed with a valve that allows air to escape when the baby closes their mouth, taking on the natural shape of the baby's oral cavity. The nipple is made of 100% natural latex, and the flexible shield around the nipple has a slightly concave shape to minimize contact points with the baby's skin. The shield is made of 100% PP and is designed with 3 holes to allow air circulation.
Good pacifier hygiene requires frequent cleaning. The younger the baby, the more important it is to protect the pacifier from bacteria and maintain good hygiene. Before first use, the pacifier must be sterilized. Latex is a natural material that can break down at temperatures above 100°C; therefore, latex pacifiers MUST NOT be sterilized in a microwave, steam sterilizer, UV sterilizer, or in sterilization solution.
Sterilizing the pacifier involves 3 simple steps: place the pacifier in a clean bowl, pour hot water over it and leave it for 5 minutes, then remove the pacifier onto a clean paper towel and let it dry. If water has entered the inside of the nipple through its valve, use the paper towel to press the nipple until the water is removed. It is recommended to replace pacifiers after 4-6 weeks of use.
