BIBS Set of 2 Colour Latex Pacifiers, round teat, 6 months+, latex, Island Sea/Forest Lake
BIBS Colour pacifiers are made of latex, a material obtained from the fluid of the rubber tree (Hevea). This fluid is refined, resulting in an elastic and soft material with a texture similar to a mother's breast. The set contains two pacifiers in the Island Sea and Forest Lake shades.
The pacifier nipple is designed with a valve that allows air to escape when the baby closes their mouth and takes on the natural shape of the oral cavity. The nipple is made of 100% natural latex. The flexible shield around the nipple has a slightly concave shape to minimize contact points with the baby's skin and is made of 100% PP, with 3 holes that allow air circulation.
Good pacifier hygiene requires frequent cleaning. The younger the baby, the more important it is to protect the pacifier from bacteria. Before first use, the pacifier must be sterilized. Latex is a natural material that can break at temperatures above 100 degrees C. Therefore, latex pacifiers should NOT be sterilized in the microwave, steam sterilizer, UV sterilizer, or in sterilization solution.
Sterilization involves 3 simple steps: place the pacifier in a clean bowl, pour hot water over it and leave it for 5 minutes, then remove it onto a clean paper towel and let it dry. If water has entered the inside of the nipple through the valve, press the nipple with the towel until the water is eliminated. Pacifiers should be replaced after 4-6 weeks of use.
