BIBS Set of 2 Colour Latex pacifiers, round nipple, 6 months+, 100% natural latex, Hush/Grape
BIBS Colour pacifiers are made from latex, a material obtained from the fluid of the rubber tree (Hevea). This fluid is refined to create latex - a soft, elastic material that mimics the texture of a mother's breast. The set contains 2 pacifiers with a round nipple, suitable for babies from 6 months old.
The pacifier nipple is designed with a valve that allows air to escape when the baby closes their mouth, allowing it to conform to the natural shape of the oral cavity. The nipple is made of 100% natural latex. The flexible shield around the nipple has a slightly concave shape to minimize contact points with the baby's skin. The shield is made of 100% PP, with 3 holes that allow air circulation.
Good pacifier hygiene requires frequent cleaning. The younger the baby, the more important it is to protect the pacifier from bacteria. Before the first use, the pacifier must be sterilized. Latex is a natural material that can break down at temperatures above 100°C, which is why latex pacifiers should NOT be sterilized in the microwave, steam sterilizer, UV sterilizer, or in sterilization solution.
Sterilization involves 3 simple steps: place the pacifier in a clean bowl, pour boiling water over it and leave it for 5 minutes, then remove it onto a clean paper towel and let it dry. If water has entered the inside of the nipple through the valve, use the paper towel to press the nipple until the water is expelled.
