BIBS Set of 2 Colour Latex pacifiers round teat 6 months + Dusty Pink/Elderberry
BIBS Colour pacifiers are made of latex, a material obtained from the fluid of the rubber tree (hevea). This fluid is refined to create latex, a soft and elastic material with a texture similar to a mother's breast. The set contains two pacifiers in Dusty Pink and Elderberry, recommended for babies from 6 months old.
The pacifier nipple is designed with a valve that allows air to escape when the baby closes their mouth, allowing it to adapt to the natural shape of the oral cavity. The nipple is made of 100% natural latex. The flexible shield around the nipple has a slightly concave shape to minimize contact points with the baby's skin. The shield is made of PP and designed with 3 holes that allow air circulation.
Good pacifier hygiene requires frequent cleaning. The younger the baby, the more important it is to protect the pacifier from bacteria. Before the first use, the pacifier must be sterilized. Latex is a natural material that can break down at temperatures above 100 degrees C. Therefore, latex pacifiers MUST NOT be sterilized in the microwave, steam sterilizer, UV sterilizer, or in sterilization solution.
Sterilization involves three simple steps: place the pacifier in a clean bowl, pour hot water over it and let it sit for 5 minutes, then place it on a clean towel to dry. If water has entered the inside of the nipple through the valve, press the nipple with the towel until the water is expelled. Pacifiers should be replaced after 4-6 weeks of use.
