BIBS Colour Latex pacifiers come in a set of 2 in Dusty Pink/Coral and are made of latex, a material obtained from the fluid of the rubber tree (hevea). This fluid is refined to produce latex, an elastic and soft material with a texture similar to a mother's breast. The round nipple adopts the natural shape of the baby's oral cavity and is recommended for the 6-18 months size.
The pacifier nipple is designed with a valve that allows air to escape when the baby closes their mouth, and the material it is made of is 100% natural latex. The flexible shield around the nipple has a slightly concave shape to minimize contact points with the baby's skin, and it is made of 100% PP, designed with 3 holes that allow air circulation.
Good pacifier hygiene requires frequent cleaning. The younger the baby, the more important it is to protect the pacifier from bacteria and maintain its proper hygiene. Before the first use, the pacifier must be sterilized. Because latex is a natural material that can break at temperatures above 100 degrees Celsius, latex pacifiers MUST NOT be sterilized in a microwave, steam sterilizer, UV sterilizer, or in a sterilization solution.
Sterilization involves 3 simple steps: place the pacifier in a clean bowl, pour hot water over it and leave it for 5 minutes, then take the pacifier out on a clean paper towel and let it dry. If water has entered the nipple through its valve, use the paper towel to press the nipple until the water is removed. Pacifiers should be replaced after 4-6 weeks of use.
