BIBS Set of 2 Colour Latex pacifiers, round nipple, 18 months+ Sand/Iron, made of 100% natural latex
The BIBS Colour pacifiers in this 2-pack set are made of latex, a material obtained from the fluid of the rubber tree (hevea). This fluid is refined to produce latex, a soft and elastic material with a texture similar to a mother's breast. The pacifier teat is made of 100% natural latex and is designed with a valve that allows air to escape when the baby closes their mouth, adopting the natural shape of the baby's oral cavity.
The flexible shield around the teat has a slightly concave shape to minimize contact points with the baby's skin. The shield is made of 100% PP and designed with 3 holes that allow air circulation. This set features a round teat and is recommended for babies aged 18 months and up, in the Sand/Iron color variant.
Good pacifier hygiene involves frequent cleaning. The younger the baby, the more important it is to protect the pacifier from bacteria and maintain proper hygiene. Before the first use, the pacifier must be sterilized. Latex is a natural material that can break down at temperatures above 100°C. Therefore, latex pacifiers must NOT be sterilized in a microwave, steam sterilizer, UV sterilizer, or with sterilizing solution.
Sterilizing the pacifier involves 3 simple steps: place the pacifier in a clean bowl, pour boiling water over it and let it sit for 5 minutes, then remove the pacifier onto a clean towel and let it air dry. If water has entered the inside of the teat through the valve, use the towel to press the teat until the water is removed. It is recommended to replace pacifiers after 4-6 weeks of use to maintain safety and hygiene during daily use.
