BIBS Set of 2 Colour Latex pacifiers, round nipple, 18 months+, Ivory/Blush, made of 100% natural latex
BIBS Colour pacifiers are made from latex, a material obtained from the fluid of the rubber tree (hevea). This fluid is refined to create latex, a soft and elastic material with a texture similar to a mother's breast. The set contains 2 pacifiers in Ivory and Blush shades and is recommended for babies from 18 months and up.
The round nipple of the pacifier is designed with a valve that allows air to escape when the baby closes their mouth, taking on the natural shape of the baby's oral cavity. The nipple is made of 100% natural latex, a soft material that fits comfortably in the baby's mouth. The flexible disc around the nipple has a slightly concave shape to minimize contact points with the baby's skin.
The disc is made of PP and is designed with 3 holes that allow air circulation. Pacifiers must be sterilized before first use and replaced after 4-6 weeks of use.
Good pacifier hygiene requires frequent cleaning. The younger the baby, the more important it is to protect the pacifier from bacteria and maintain good hygiene. Because latex is a natural material that can break down at temperatures above 100°C, latex pacifiers MUST NOT be sterilized in a microwave, steam sterilizer, UV sterilizer, or sterilizing solution. Proper sterilization involves 3 simple steps: place the pacifier in a clean bowl, pour boiling water over the pacifier and let it sit for 5 minutes, then remove the pacifier onto a clean napkin and let it air dry. If water has entered the nipple through the valve, use the napkin to press the nipple until the water is expelled.
