BIBS Set of 2 Colour Latex pacifiers, round nipple, 18 months+, Blush/Woodchuck, made of natural latex
BIBS Colour Latex pacifiers are made of latex, a material obtained from the fluid of the rubber tree (hevea). This fluid is refined to obtain latex, an elastic and soft material that is similar in texture to a mother's breast. The set contains 2 pacifiers in Blush and Woodchuck shades, recommended for babies 18 months and older.
The round nipple of the pacifier is designed with a valve that allows air to escape when the baby closes their mouth and takes on the natural shape of the baby's oral cavity. The nipple is made of 100% natural latex, a soft material that adapts comfortably to the little one's mouth. This shape is designed to support the baby's natural sucking.
The flexible shield around the nipple has a slightly concave shape to minimize contact points with the baby's skin. The shield is made of 100% PP, designed with 3 holes that allow air circulation. This construction helps the skin around the mouth breathe while using the pacifier.
Good pacifier hygiene requires frequent cleaning. The younger the baby, the more important it is to protect the pacifier from bacteria and maintain good hygiene. Before the first use, the pacifier must be sterilized. Latex is a natural material that can break down at temperatures above 100°C. Therefore, latex pacifiers MUST NOT be sterilized in a microwave, steam sterilizer, UV sterilizer, or in a sterilization solution. Sterilization involves 3 simple steps: place the pacifier in a clean bowl, pour hot water over the pacifier and leave it for 5 minutes, then remove the pacifier onto a clean towel and let it dry. If water has entered the nipple through its valve, use the towel to press the nipple until the water is expelled. Pacifiers should be replaced after 4-6 weeks of use.
