BIBS Set of 2 Colour Latex Pacifiers, round nipple, 18 months+, Baby Pink/Tango, natural latex
BIBS Colour pacifiers are made of latex, a material obtained from the fluid of the rubber tree (hevea). This fluid is refined to create latex: a soft and elastic material with a texture similar to a mother's breast. The set contains two pacifiers with a round nipple, suitable for babies from 18 months.
The pacifier nipple is designed with a valve that allows air to escape when the baby closes their mouth, taking on the natural shape of the baby's oral cavity. The nipple is made of 100% natural latex. The flexible shield around the nipple has a slightly concave shape to minimize contact points with the baby's skin and is made of 100% PP, designed with 3 holes to allow air circulation.
Good pacifier hygiene requires frequent cleaning. The younger the baby, the more important it is to protect the pacifier from bacteria. Before the first use, the pacifier must be sterilized. Latex is a natural material that can break down at temperatures above 100°C. Therefore, latex pacifiers must NOT be sterilized in the microwave, steam sterilizer, UV sterilizer, or in sterilizing solution.
Sterilization involves 3 simple steps: place the pacifier in a clean bowl, pour hot water over it and leave it for 5 minutes, then remove it onto a clean paper towel and let it dry. If water has entered the inside of the nipple through the valve, press the nipple with the paper towel until the water is removed. Pacifiers should be replaced after 4-6 weeks of use.
