BIBS Set of 2 Colour Latex Pacifiers, round nipple, natural latex, 0 months +, Scuba/Taupe
BIBS Colour pacifiers are made of latex, a material obtained from the fluid of the rubber tree (hevea). This fluid is refined to produce latex, an elastic and soft material with a texture similar to a mother's breast. The set contains two pacifiers with a round nipple, suitable for babies from 0 months old.
The pacifier nipple is designed with a valve that allows air to escape when the baby closes their mouth and conforms to the natural shape of the baby's oral cavity. The nipple is made of 100% natural latex. The flexible shield around the nipple is slightly concave to minimize contact points with the baby's skin. The shield is made of PP and designed with 3 holes to allow air circulation.
Good pacifier hygiene requires frequent cleaning. The younger the baby, the more important it is to protect the pacifier from bacteria. Before the first use, the pacifier must be sterilized. Latex is a natural material that can break down at temperatures above 100°C. Therefore, latex pacifiers should not be sterilized in a microwave, steam sterilizer, UV sterilizer, or in sterilizing solution. Sterilization involves three simple steps: place the pacifier in a clean bowl, pour boiling water over it and leave it for 5 minutes, then remove it onto a clean paper towel and let it dry. If water has entered the inside of the nipple through the valve, press the nipple with the towel until the water is removed.
It is recommended to replace pacifiers after 4-6 weeks of use for the baby's safety.
