BIBS Set of 2 Colour Latex pacifiers, round nipple, 0 months+, Sage, made of 100% natural latex with a PP shield
The BIBS Colour pacifiers in the 2-piece set are made of latex, a natural material sourced from the sap of the rubber tree (hevea). This sap is refined to obtain latex, a soft, elastic material with a texture similar to a mother's breast. The set is intended for babies from 0 months old, and the size indicated by the manufacturer is 0-6 months.
The round nipple of the pacifier is designed with a valve that allows air to escape when the baby closes their mouth, thus mimicking the natural shape of the oral cavity. The nipple is made of 100% natural latex, a soft material that adapts comfortably to the baby's needs during sucking and soothing.
The flexible shield around the nipple has a slightly concave shape to minimize contact points with the baby's skin and prevent irritation. The shield is made of PP and is designed with 3 holes that allow air circulation.
Good pacifier hygiene requires frequent cleaning; the younger the baby, the more important it is to protect the pacifier from bacteria. Before the first use, the pacifier must be sterilized. Because latex is a natural material that can break down at temperatures above 100°C, latex pacifiers MUST NOT be sterilized in the microwave, steam sterilizer, UV sterilizer, or in sterilization solution. Instead, place the pacifier in a clean bowl, pour boiling water over it and leave it for 5 minutes, then remove it onto a clean napkin and let it dry. If water has entered the nipple through the valve, press the nipple with the napkin until the water is removed. The manufacturer recommends replacing the pacifiers after 4-6 weeks of use.
