The flexible disc around the teat has a slightly concave shape to minimize contact points with the baby's skin. The disc is made of 100% PP and designed with 3 holes that allow air circulation. This limits irritation to the delicate skin around the mouth, and the skin breathes better during use.

Good pacifier hygiene requires frequent cleaning. The younger the baby, the more important it is to protect the pacifier from bacteria and maintain good hygiene. Before the first use, the pacifier must be sterilized. Latex is a natural material that can break at temperatures above 100 degrees Celsius; therefore, latex pacifiers MUST NOT be sterilized in the microwave, steam sterilizer, UV sterilizer, or in sterilization solution. Sterilization involves 3 simple steps: place the pacifier in a clean bowl, pour boiling water over the pacifier and leave it for 5 minutes, then remove it onto a clean napkin and let it dry. If water has entered the inside of the teat through the valve, use the napkin to press the teat until the water is removed. It is recommended to replace the pacifiers after 4-6 weeks of use.
