The BIBS Colour Latex set contains two pacifiers with a round nipple, made from 100% natural latex, a material derived from the sap of the rubber tree (hevea). This sap is refined to obtain latex, a soft and elastic material with a texture similar to a mother's breast. The pacifiers are in the Hush/Grape colorway and are recommended from 0 months onwards.

The pacifier nipple is designed with a valve that allows air to escape when the baby closes their mouth, thus conforming to the natural shape of the baby's oral cavity. Being made of natural latex, the nipple is soft and flexible, offering a sensation close to breastfeeding. The round shape of the nipple is designed for the little one's comfort during sucking.

The flexible shield around the nipple has a slightly concave shape to minimize contact points with the baby's skin. The shield is made of 100% PP and designed with 3 holes that allow air circulation. This construction helps to ventilate the area around the baby's mouth while the pacifier is in use.

Pacifier hygiene is essential: the younger the baby, the more important it is to protect the pacifier from bacteria. Before the first use, the pacifier must be sterilized. Because latex is a natural material that can break at temperatures above 100 degrees Celsius, latex pacifiers must NOT be sterilized in a microwave, steam sterilizer, UV sterilizer, or in sterilization solution. Sterilization involves three simple steps: place the pacifier in a clean bowl, pour boiling water over it and leave it for 5 minutes, then remove it onto a clean paper towel and let it dry. If water has entered the inside of the nipple through the valve, press the nipple with the paper towel until the water is expelled. Pacifiers should be replaced after 4-6 weeks of use.
