BIBS Set of 2 Colour Latex pacifiers with round teat, 0 months+, Hunter Green/Dark Oak, made of 100% natural latex
The BIBS Colour pacifiers in this set are made of latex, a natural material obtained from the fluid of the rubber tree (hevea). The fluid is refined to obtain latex, an elastic and soft material, similar in texture to a mother's breast. The round nipple of the pacifier takes the natural shape of the baby's oral cavity and is made of 100% natural latex.
The pacifier nipple is designed with a valve that allows air to escape when the baby closes their mouth, thus providing comfortable use. The flexible shield around the nipple has a slightly concave shape to minimize contact points with the baby's skin. This shield is made of PP and is designed with 3 holes that allow for air circulation.
Good pacifier hygiene requires frequent cleaning. The younger the baby, the more important it is to protect the pacifier from bacteria and maintain good hygiene. Before first use, the pacifier must be sterilized. Because latex is a natural material that can break at temperatures above 100 degrees C, latex pacifiers MUST NOT be sterilized in a microwave, steam sterilizer, UV sterilizer, or with sterilization solution.
Sterilizing the pacifier involves 3 simple steps: place the pacifier in a clean bowl, pour boiling water over the pacifier and leave it for 5 minutes, then remove the pacifier onto a clean towel and let it dry. If water has entered the inside of the nipple through its valve, press the nipple with the towel until the water is expelled. The set is recommended for babies from 0 months, and the pacifiers should be replaced after 4-6 weeks of use.
