BIBS Set of 2 Colour Latex Pacifiers, round teat, 0 months+, Dusty Pink/Elderberry, made of natural latex
The BIBS Colour Latex set contains two pacifiers with a round nipple, in Dusty Pink and Elderberry shades, suitable for babies from 0 months. The pacifiers are made of latex, a material obtained from the fluid of the rubber tree (Hevea). This fluid is refined to produce latex, an elastic and soft material with a texture similar to a mother's breast.
The pacifier nipple is designed with a valve that allows air to escape when the baby closes their mouth and takes on the natural shape of the baby's oral cavity. The nipple is made of 100% natural latex. The flexible shield around the nipple has a slightly concave shape to minimize contact points with the baby's skin. The shield is made of 100% PP and is designed with 3 holes that allow air circulation.
Good pacifier hygiene requires frequent cleaning. The younger the baby, the more important it is to protect the pacifier from bacteria and maintain good hygiene. Before first use, the pacifier must be sterilized. Latex is a natural material that can break at temperatures above 100°C. Therefore, latex pacifiers should NOT be sterilized in a microwave, steam sterilizer, UV sterilizer, or in sterilization solution.
Sterilizing the pacifier involves 3 simple steps: place the pacifier in a clean bowl, pour hot water over it, leave it for 5 minutes, then place it on a clean napkin and let it dry. If water has entered the nipple through the valve, use the napkin to press the nipple until the water is removed. The manufacturer recommends replacing the pacifiers after 4-6 weeks of use.
