The BIBS Colour Latex set contains 2 pacifiers with a round nipple, made from 100% natural latex, a material obtained from the fluid of the rubber tree (hevea). This fluid is refined to produce latex, an elastic and soft material with a texture similar to a mother's breast, suitable for babies from 0 months old.

The pacifier nipple is designed with a valve that allows air to escape when the baby closes their mouth and takes on the natural shape of the baby's oral cavity. This construction provides comfort during use and supports the natural development of how the baby uses their mouth.

The flexible shield around the nipple has a slightly concave shape to minimize contact points with the baby's skin. The shield is made of PP and is designed with 3 holes that allow air circulation, thus contributing to a more comfortable fit of the pacifier on the baby's face.

Good pacifier hygiene requires frequent cleaning. The younger the baby, the more important it is to protect the pacifier from bacteria and maintain good hygiene. Before the first use, the pacifier must be sterilized. Since latex is a natural material that can break at temperatures above 100°C, latex pacifiers MUST NOT be sterilized in a microwave, steam sterilizer, UV sterilizer, or in a sterilization solution. Proper sterilization involves 3 simple steps: place the pacifier in a clean bowl, pour hot water over the pacifier and let it sit for 5 minutes, then remove the pacifier onto a clean towel and let it dry. If water has entered the nipple through the valve, use the towel to press the nipple until the water is expelled. Pacifiers should be replaced after 4-6 weeks of use.
