BIBS Set of 2 Colour Latex Pacifiers, round nipple, 0 months+, Baby Blue, 100% natural latex
BIBS Colour pacifiers in the 2-piece set are made of latex, a material obtained from the fluid of the rubber tree (hevea). This fluid is refined to create latex, an elastic and soft material with a texture similar to a mother's breast. The set is recommended for babies aged 0 to 6 months, and the color of this model is Baby Blue.
The pacifier teat is designed with a valve that allows air to escape when the baby closes their mouth, taking on the natural shape of the baby's oral cavity. The round teat is made of 100% natural latex. The flexible shield around the teat has a slightly concave shape to minimize contact points with the baby's skin. The shield is made of 100% PP and designed with 3 holes to allow air circulation.
Before the first use, the pacifier must be sterilized. Because latex is a natural material that can break at temperatures above 100 degrees Celsius, latex pacifiers MUST NOT be sterilized in a microwave, steam sterilizer, UV sterilizer, or in a sterilization solution. Sterilize the pacifiers before the first use.
Sterilizing the pacifier involves 3 simple steps: place the pacifier in a clean bowl, pour hot water over it, leave it for 5 minutes, then take it out onto a clean napkin and let it dry. If water has entered the inside of the teat through its valve, use the napkin to press the teat until the water is removed. Good hygiene involves frequent cleaning, and the younger the baby, the more important it is to protect the pacifier from bacteria. Replace the pacifiers after 4-6 weeks of use.
