BIBS Set of 2 Colour Latex pacifiers, round teat, latex, PP shield, 0 months+
BIBS Colour pacifiers are made from latex, a material obtained from the fluid of the rubber tree (hevea). The fluid is refined, resulting in latex - an elastic and soft material, similar in texture to a mother's breast. The set contains 2 pacifiers.
The pacifier nipple is designed with a valve that allows air to escape when the baby closes their mouth and takes on the natural shape of the baby's oral cavity. The nipple is made from natural latex. The flexible shield around the nipple has a slightly concave shape to minimize contact points with the baby's skin. The shield is made of PP and designed with 3 holes that allow air circulation.
For good hygiene, the pacifier must be cleaned frequently. Before the first use, the pacifier must be sterilized. Latex is a natural material that can break at temperatures above 100°C; therefore, latex pacifiers should not be sterilized in the microwave, steam sterilizer, UV sterilizer, or in sterilization solution. Sterilization involves 3 steps: place the pacifier in a clean bowl, pour hot water over it and leave it for 5 minutes, then remove it onto a clean paper towel and let it dry. If water has entered the inside of the nipple through the valve, press the nipple with the paper towel until the water is eliminated.
