Before first use, the pacifier must be sterilized. Latex is a natural material that can break at temperatures above 100 degrees C. Therefore, Latex pacifiers MUST NOT be sterilized in the microwave, steam sterilizer, UV sterilizer, or in sterilization solution. Sterilization involves three simple steps: place the pacifier in a clean bowl, pour boiling water over it and leave it for 5 minutes, then remove it onto a clean paper towel and let it dry. If water has entered the inside of the nipple through the valve, press the nipple with the paper towel until the water is removed. It is recommended to replace the pacifiers after 4-6 weeks of use.
