BIBS Boheme pacifiers are made of latex, a material derived from the fluid of the rubber tree (hevea). This fluid is refined to obtain latex - an elastic, soft material similar in texture to a mother's breast.

The pacifier nipple is designed with a valve that allows air to escape when the baby closes their mouth and takes on the natural shape of the baby's oral cavity.

The nipple is made of 100% natural latex.

The flexible shield around the nipple has a slightly concave shape to minimize contact points with the baby's skin.

Cleaning and sterilizing the pacifier
Good pacifier hygiene requires frequent cleaning. The younger the baby, the more important it is to protect the pacifier from bacteria and maintain good hygiene.
Before first use, the pacifier must be sterilized.
Latex is a natural material that can break at temperatures above 100 degrees Celsius. Therefore, latex pacifiers MUST NOT be sterilized in a microwave, steam sterilizer, UV sterilizer, or sterilizing solution.

Sterilizing the pacifier involves 3 simple steps:
1. Place the pacifier in a clean bowl.
2. Pour boiling water over the pacifier and let it sit for 5 minutes.
3. Remove the pacifier onto a clean towel and let it dry.

If water has entered the inside of the nipple (through its valve), use a towel to press the nipple until the water is expelled.
