Djeco Taptap wooden workbench for babies, motor skills toy, 18 months

The Taptap baby workbench from Djeco is a wooden toy designed for the development of motor skills and hand-eye coordination. Children place the colorful cylinders in their slots and tap them with the wooden hammer, repeating the movement until all the cylinders have passed through the bench. It is a simple activity that helps little ones practice controlled force and gesture precision.

What makes this toy special is the reversible base: when all the cylinders have been pushed through, the child can turn the base over and the fun starts all over again. Thus, the game never ends, and the child can repeat the activity as many times as they wish, practicing the same movements and consolidating hand-eye coordination.

The set contains the wooden workbench with 6 cylinders, plus a wooden hammer and 6 wooden pegs. All pieces are made of wood, with non-toxic paints. The workbench measures 18 x 12 x 10 cm, and the package is 19 cm wide, 13 cm high, and 11 cm deep.

The toy is recommended for children from 18 months. The vivid colors of the cylinders and the repetitive action of hammering make Taptap a suitable toy for the first years of play, and the wooden construction ensures long-lasting use. It is produced by Djeco in France, a benchmark for those looking for classic skill-building toys.
