Djeco Bauhaus Watercolor Workshop Inspired by Paul Klee 7-99 years, paper and cardboard

The Djeco watercolor workshop from the Inspired by collection is dedicated to Paul Klee, the great master of the Bauhaus movement. The Inspired by collection from Djeco brings together the most appreciated artists and offers sets inspired by famous paintings, using different creative techniques such as transfer, painting, scraping, drawing, and collage. This set is an introduction to art, meant to bring us closer to great talents and artistic movements through a fascinating encounter between a contemporary illustrator and a classic master.

The boards in this set are created in the Bauhaus style, with illustrations by Benjamin Flouw, inspired by Paul Klee. The set includes a board to be painted with watercolors that invites children to discover Klee's style. Little by little, the pictures are colored with watercolor wax crayons, and then the pigment is diluted and smoothed out with a wet brush. Thus, the desert and its inhabitants come to life under the hands of the child who explores the technique.

The content of the set consists of 4 illustrated cards measuring 20 x 20 cm, 12 watercolor wax crayons, 1 brush, and 1 booklet with step-by-step colored instructions. The pastels have pigments that can be diluted to discover the art of watercolor, an accessible technique that helps children understand how color behaves in the presence of water and how fine transitions between shades are created.

The set is recommended for ages between 7 and 99 years, being suitable for both older children and art-loving adults. It is made of paper and cardboard, and the manufacturer is Djeco, France. Adult supervision is recommended while the child is playing, and it is advised to read the product label carefully before handing the toy to the child.
